How to Order a Custom 3D Print in Canada
BerryBroCreations offers custom 3D printing in Whitby, Ontario: printing from customer model files, creating new designs and personalizing existing products. This guide explains what to send with a request and what needs to be agreed before the project starts.
Ready to discuss a project? Visit the custom 3D printing and design service page for Whitby and Durham Region, or request a project quote.
1. Choose your starting point
- You have a model file: share a file link, the intended finished size, quantity and use. Jon reviews the file format and printability before confirming a job.
- You need a new design: send a sketch, reference or description and explain where the part needs to fit or what the piece should look like. Design scope and feasibility are agreed before proceeding.
- You want a personalized shop item: send the product name and the wording, name, colour or other change you have in mind. Variations are not automatically included in the catalogue price.
For example: βI have a model for a desk organizer, need one at 12 Γ 8 Γ 6 cm, and can collect in Whitby,β or βCould you design a name sign for my desk? Here is my sketch, approximate size and budget.β
2. Include the details that affect the quote
- Width Γ depth Γ height, with centimetres or inches clearly stated.
- Quantity, colour preferences and the intended use.
- A model-file link, reference image or sketch if available.
- Your approximate budget, date needed, and pickup or delivery city.
If you do not know a detail, say so; it can be discussed. Only share a file you have permission to reproduce and are comfortable sending. For confidential models, contact Jon first to arrange a suitable transfer. The quote form does not upload or automatically download a model.
3. Confirm feasibility, price and what is included
Custom projects are individually quoted. Size, material, model complexity, quantity and design work affect the price. There is no universal per-piece price, and a price for a ready-made listing does not automatically cover a modified version.
Jon will confirm whether the project is suitable, what the agreed work includes and the cost before an order is confirmed. Material options, maximum print size and technical requirements must be checked for the specific job; do not assume a process or certification from an example photograph.
4. Agree the production and delivery plan
Custom production time is separate from carrier transit time. A quote request is not a reservation or a guaranteed completion date. Tell Jon about a birthday, event or other hard deadline before ordering, so availability can be checked.
For Whitby pickup, arrange an appointment after your order and readiness are confirmed. There is no walk-in shop or same-day guarantee. Customers in Oshawa, Ajax, Pickering and elsewhere in Durham Region can enquire about Whitby collection; there are no separate branches in those cities.
Shipping is available across Canada and elsewhere. Confirm delivery cost and timing for the custom project with your quote. The shipping policy explains general terms, but a ready-made productβs dispatch estimate is not a custom-project production promise.
5. Send the request directly to Jon
Use the custom-print quote form, email JonathanM@berrybrocreations.com, or message @berrybrocreations on Instagram. Send enough information to start a conversation; there is no need to guess a final price yourself.
